The Challenge
The Lowy Group wanted its management team to better understand and support employees facing executive-function-related challenges at work, including procrastination, missed deadlines, difficulty prioritising, and burnout, without necessarily framing the session around any specific diagnosis. Organised internally as a company-wide management training session.
The Outcome
Delivered as scheduled to the full invited management group (~20 attendees). No downstream outcome data (management behaviour change, employee-reported impact) is available beyond delivery itself.
The Approach
Delivered as a live, in-person workshop to around 20 management staff rather than 1:1 coaching. Deliberately repositioned existing ADHD-specific coaching material, the ADHD Canvas and UMPAR Framework workshop, into a general executive-dysfunction and workplace-performance framing suitable for a broad management audience, retitled ‘Enhancing Workplace Performance Through Focus and Well-being.’ This was a genuine adaptation exercise, not a straight repeat delivery of existing 1:1 material. Built the session around a practical Function, Dysfunction and Accommodation reference table covering all 8 executive functions, giving managers concrete guidance on what to actually do differently, not just theory. Grounded the session in properly sourced psychological models (Kahneman’s Fast and Slow thinking, Peters’ Chimp Paradox, TJ Power’s D.O.S.E. neurochemical model) alongside an original authored framework, supported by structured coaching canvases and an 18-tool coaching toolkit.
