Situation

As generative AI tools became increasingly capable, I observed that many organisations and individuals struggled to achieve consistent results despite access to powerful technologies.

In many cases, the limitation was not the AI itself, but the lack of structured context, shared understanding and clearly defined problem spaces.

Challenge

Most AI implementation efforts focus on prompts, tools and automation before fully understanding the problem being solved.

The challenge was to explore how principles from service design, customer discovery, coaching and systems thinking could be applied to help people create the context required for effective AI-assisted outcomes.

Actions

Developed structured frameworks and workflows designed to help individuals and organisations externalise knowledge, define objectives and articulate context more clearly.

Created GPTs, Claude Skills and AI-assisted workflows that guide users through discovery, problem definition and solution design processes.

Applied frameworks including the ADHD Canvas, UMPAR Framework, Business Model Canvas and Value Proposition Design principles to help users provide meaningful context to AI systems.

Explored how AI could support coaching, strategic planning, customer understanding, operational processes and decision-making.

Built platforms and resources focused on AI adoption, workflow design, CRM automation and business systems.

Outcome

Established a growing practice focused on the intersection of service design, behaviour change and human-centred AI.

Created reusable frameworks and AI-assisted processes that help individuals and organisations move from ambiguity to structured understanding.

Developed a perspective on AI implementation that prioritises context, knowledge architecture and problem framing before automation.
